Last night saw this blog hit the 12,000 mark. To me, that is a lot of hits. Especially with how erratically I have been posting over the last year.
I want to show you what my stats look like later this week, as it draws to a close. On the whole, since I started putting serious effort into my blog, it has really paid off. The last two months have seen more hits than the first eight months of last year combined.
That’s a lot of hits. Unfortunately, I receive very few comments.
April marks this site’s third anniversary. Up to now, this blog has been very personal and mostly about events happening in my day to day life. Part of my recent blogging success is because I try to visit three new blogs each day and leave comments. As far as I know, they are all international bloggers that I visit. Going forward, I would like to expand my horizons a bit and blog about people around me, the community and maybe show my readers what South Africa really is like. Maybe I will even voice my opinion on certain topics.
What would you like to read about in this blog? I want to write about my friends. Maybe touch upon life in general. Living in Johannesburg. Perceptions on crime in the country. Please leave comments and let me know.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I for one enjoy your blog. You have a peaceful demeanor about you, and it shines through in your words. So thank you for the little ray of light I get from reading you blog.
As you are a chatroom owner, I’d be interested to hear about the dynamics of a chatroom. Politics, personalities, friendships, and the like. …Me being curious.
And of course, I’m a big fan of Gemma’s. So you have to keep us up to date with her adventures.
Thank you once again.
Oh, I enjoy your blog too. And I’m glad you visit mine sometimes :).
You are the first South African blogger in my list. I am truly interested in the sights and sounds around you.
If I am one of the three, yup- right from Australia! Hi!
Congratulations! 12,000 is a huge number! Excellent… Now I’m going to put you on my blogroll. I won’t prune it if we stay in touch (LOL!)
