I could call it the lazy days of Summer, but it’s only September and technically, only Spring time. But it was still a lazy weekend all the same. As I mentioned, we got home on time on Friday, for the first time in about 2 weeks.

We slept in really late yesterday. It was also the first time in a while that I slept and woke up feeling refreshed. I wanted to go out somewhere, but when we got up, the wind was blowing, making it a little unpleasant to go out the house.

Instead, we stayed at home, messing around on our computers. I hate to say it, but I’m hooked on those games on Neopets again. It’s not the best way to spend your day, but it was something that I was in the mood for.

Sunday has been much of the same. The weather was good and I wanted to go out, but then I remembered that Marc had said someone could come round to learn a little about using a computer. So, we just chilled again and I had an early bath before heading out and getting photographs. I tried my hand at a bit of macro photography and got some pictures of bees on a lavender plant and a bottle brush as well. Unfortunately, the latter didn’t work because I was out around sunset. I actually need to get out before 17:00 if I want to take decent pictures.

Actually, we did get out for a little bit. We took the dogs to the shops around lunch time. We waited for Marc outside the bottle store and was impressed at how well-behaved the dogs were. But then, they could have also been tired out from the walk. Only 500m or so, but they are only small.

I think my African Violets have finally finished flowering. I’m not seeing any new buds under the leaves and the purple flowers are dying off. Hopefully soon, I can repot that white one with the purple edges and get those little plants out from under the main plant. Wonder what I’ll do with them …
